WPM Real Estate Management Recognized for Excellence in Management at 2021 MMHA Star Awards

WPM Real Estate Management has been recognized once again for its excellence in property management at the 2021 Maryland Multi-Housing Association (MMHA) Star Awards, held on October 21, 2021 at the Maryland Live! Casino. In addition to being named one of the top three property management companies of the year, nine other WPM-managed communities and WPM associates were honored for their outstanding professionalism and commitment to excellence.

“These awards carry a special meaning this year,” notes Leonard Frenkil Jr., President of Multifamily Real Estate at WPM. “Since the outset of the pandemic, our teams have worked diligently, pivoted where needed, and continued to ensure the highest level of service, for both our residents and our clients. We’re honored to see this commitment to excellence recognized within the industry.”

WPM Awards included:

  • Property Management Company of the Year (Bronze)
  • Elevator Community of the Year (Gold) – 500 Park
  • Elevator Community of the Year (Silver) – Hopkins House
  • Elevator Community of the Year (Bronze) – 611 Park
  • Garden Community of the Year (Bronze) – Meadow Creek
  • Property Team of the Year (Silver) – Rosedale Garden Team
  • Leasing Consultant of the Year (Silver) – Andre Henry, Twin Ridge Apartments
  • Regional Property Manager of the Year (Bronze) – Melissa Gambuto
  • Property Manager of the Year (Bronze) – Deb Crawford, Hopkins House
  • Assistant Property manager of the Year (Bronze) – Michelle Miller, Hopkins House

Awarded annually since 1997, the MMHA Star Awards are designed to honor members of the association who exhibit the most outstanding and innovative properties and professionals in the Maryland multi-family industry.  Nominations are accepted from among the organization’s more than 200 associate members, and nominees are judged by a committee of third-party professionals, not affiliated with any of the management companies.
